Watch my Back stems from a deeply personal experience and explores the psychological and social pressures young people face today. The work highlights the tension between an increasingly digital daily life and a physical world that feels ever more unstable and unpredictable.

In an era where social media promotes idealized images of success and perfection, young people experience constant pressure to measure up. These digital expectations clash with the realities of global crises — conflict, polarization, and climate-related challenges. Their environment accelerates and becomes more stimulus‑driven, even as the world grows harsher and less secure.

Watch my Back visualizes the need for protection, vigilance, and mutual support within this landscape. It reflects on vulnerability and resilience, revealing the mental burden carried by a generation growing up amid continuous change and rising uncertainty.
